Purchase-boundary decision

Machine Only vs Filling Center vs Complete Line

Choose the smallest supply boundary that still gives every physical, utility, control and performance interface a named owner.

01

Machine only

Best for buyers with compatible bottle supply, treated water, conveyors and downstream equipment.

  • Confirm infeed and outfeed heights
  • Confirm existing controls and speed signals
  • Confirm cap and bottle supply responsibility
  • Confirm water and electrical handover points
02

Filling center

Adds the agreed interfaces immediately around the monoblock.

  • Air conveyor or bottle infeed
  • Rinser-filler-capper
  • Cap elevator, sorter and chute
  • Product-water connection and bottle outfeed
03

Complete-line interface

Extends coordination to blowing, treatment, labeling, coding, packing and conveying. Detailed complete-line design belongs in the dedicated line-planning scope.

  • Speed balance
  • Utility basis
  • Control handshakes
  • Layout and accumulation
04

Make every quotation editable

The comparison table is a starting point, not a fixed promise. Mark each row included, excluded, by buyer or to be confirmed.

Questions and answers

When is a water filling machine-only purchase appropriate?

It is appropriate when compatible bottle supply, treated water, cap handling, conveyors, controls and downstream equipment already exist and the buyer or integrator can own every connection and site test.

What is a configured filling center?

It is the rinser-filler-capper plus the agreed immediate interfaces, typically bottle infeed, product-water connection, cap handling, outfeed and control handshakes. The signed scope should define the exact boundary.

Does a complete-line quotation remove all buyer responsibilities?

No. Factory utilities, civil work, permits, operating materials, local labor and site acceptance responsibilities still need a written matrix even when one supplier coordinates more equipment.

Reference basis

Reference basis

Packing equipment belongs outside a machine-only price.

The catalog case-packing reference shows why a complete-line quotation must identify downstream handling, conveyors, controls, utilities and performance handovers.

Boundary decision

Choose scope by the interfaces your project can own.

Machine-only can be the right decision when the buyer has competent integration resources and compatible surrounding equipment. A wider scope reduces handovers only when the supplier actually accepts the connected responsibilities in writing.
