Use the same planning basis for every supplier

Required nominal BPH = daily bottles ÷ working hours ÷ expected operating efficiency × reserve factor.

  • Use realistic net production hours
  • Keep efficiency below 100%
  • Add reserve for growth and short stops
  • Name the reference bottle

Also check water volume

Finished-water volume per hour helps test whether upstream treatment and storage can support the filling target.

Rated versus practical output

Practical saleable output can be constrained by bottle supply, caps, changeovers, cleaning, stops and downstream accumulation.
