Machine configuration
A filling machine quotation should show how filled bottles leave the machine and reach the buyer's retained equipment. Confirm the physical transfer, bottle stability and response to downstream stops. An outfeed conveyor image does not define its length, drive, controls or acceptance responsibility.
Give suppliers filled weight, base geometry, center-of-gravity concerns, cap condition and every required format. Large or lightweight formats may create different transfer requirements; ask for a format-specific review instead of a universal compatibility statement.
Request a plan and elevation showing discharge direction, conveyor width and level, transfer gaps, guide arrangement and available access. State whether drives, legs, sensors and connection pieces are included.
Ask how downstream blockage is detected, what happens at the filler, and who is responsible for restarting connected equipment. Compare the proposed buffer and allowable bottle contact under the named format rather than assuming a long conveyor solves every stop.
Observe full bottles at the contracted conditions, including an agreed controlled downstream interruption. Record tipping, damage, leakage, lost bottles and restart behavior. When real downstream equipment is unavailable at FAT, list the remaining site test explicitly.
Only the signed scope determines that. Require the included length, supports, drive, guides, sensors and controls to be itemized.
The supplier should explain how the actual transfer and downstream demand support the agreed output, including bottle spacing and interruption assumptions.
Not if that connection was simulated. Preserve the simulation limits and schedule the real interface checks at the buyer's site.
