A catalog length and width describe only part of a filling machine installation. Ask for the operating envelope, maintenance access, delivery route and connection positions on one approved drawing. Use that drawing to compare fit and responsibility before accepting a quotation.
Request an overall arrangement showing guards, open doors, operator positions, cap loading and accessory equipment. Ask for the access needed by the supplier's service procedure rather than imposing a generic clearance figure.
Supply a dimensioned survey with bottle infeed/outfeed, elevation, columns, doors and service connections. Mark which features are fixed. The bidder should return its proposed location and identify unresolved measurements before manufacture.
Compare the shipping sections with access doors, unloading areas and the path to the final position. Have qualified site specialists assess floor/loading and lifting requirements using the supplier's data; a machine footprint cannot answer those questions.
Record drawing revision, supplied accessories, retained equipment and open items. Changes to bottles, conveyors or cap loading should trigger an interface review rather than silently reusing an obsolete layout.
Use them only as a preliminary reference. Obtain a project-specific installed layout including access, accessories and connections before committing to placement.
