Operation and support
Use a signed readiness checklist before the supplier's installation or commissioning team travels. Confirm the actual machine location, connections, trial materials and responsible site personnel. A completed building does not necessarily mean the filler can be installed and tested.
Check the delivery route, unloading area and final placement against the approved machine and shipping drawings. Have qualified site personnel address load capacity, handling and installation arrangements. Record deviations before the equipment arrives.
Use the final supplier schedule to check availability and condition of power, air, water and drains. Site engineers should retain measurements and connection sign-off. A service available elsewhere in the building may not meet the requirement at the machine.
Arrange approved bottles and caps, product/test medium, operators, maintenance support and necessary site access. Clarify language or interpretation needs and required induction. Trial-material quantity should follow the agreed commissioning plan.
Review the checklist with the supplier and identify what prevents installation, wet trials or acceptance. If a prerequisite is missing, agree its schedule and commercial effect before mobilization. Do not replace documented readiness with an assumed delivery date.
Only when the prerequisites for the planned activities are met. Unloading, mechanical installation, utility checks and production trials have different readiness needs.
Assign this in the installation scope, including quantities, approved references, arrival date and treatment of shortages.
The completed readiness checklist, measured utility results, current layout, equipment status, sample availability and any open issues.
