Water Filling Machine Training: Scope and Handover Plan

Define training by the tasks people must perform on the delivered machine. A stated number of training days does not identify who is trained, which formats are covered or what they can demonstrate afterward. Agree the scope and records before accepting a supplier offer.

01

Separate roles and learning tasks

List operators, maintenance personnel, quality staff and supervisors as appropriate. Assign relevant tasks to each group instead of giving everyone the same presentation. Only competent, authorized personnel should perform tasks requiring specialist qualifications.

  • Operation and permitted adjustments
  • Quality checks and escalation
  • Maintenance diagnosis and approved service tasks
  • Supervisor records and access responsibilities
02

Use the supplied formats and documents

Ask the trainer to use the actual HMI language, approved bottle/cap formats, manuals, alarms and change parts. Confirm instruction language, interpretation and documentation availability before attendance is scheduled.

  • Delivered machine/software revision
  • Approved operating and maintenance instructions
  • Required format changes and routine checks
03

Require observed demonstrations

Agree practical exercises under the manufacturer's safe procedure, such as approved startup/shutdown, first-off checks, format selection and fault reporting. Record completion and unresolved questions; attendance alone is not proof of independent competence.

  • Task, trainee and assessor
  • Observed result and further practice needed
  • Site authorization handled by the responsible employer
04

Plan follow-up and handover records

Retain the training matrix, supplied materials and escalation contacts. Clarify whether later staff, new formats, remote sessions or refresher training are included or separately quoted. Link unresolved documentation and service issues to an owner.

  • Training completion record
  • Open items and follow-up scope
  • Future training costs and responsibilities

Questions and answers

How many training days are needed?

The duration depends on scope, staffing, prior competence, languages and formats. Agree the required tasks first, then obtain a project-specific schedule.

Does supplier training authorize electrical work?

No. Specialist work requires the applicable competence and site authorization. Supplier familiarization does not replace professional qualification.

Should quality staff attend?

Where their role includes fill, closure or product checks, include the relevant machine and acceptance tasks in the agreed training matrix.
