Set one comparison basis before entering supplier totals
Put the same reference bottle and cap in every bidder's brief. Name the required acceptable bottles per hour and the observation boundary; a rated machine speed is not automatically a measured good-output result. Define whether the purchase is a standalone machine or a bounded filling center. Keep optional future equipment outside the common total until its inclusion is agreed.
- Record the RFQ revision and each quotation revision/date.
- Use bottle and cap drawing or sample references, not volume alone.
- Ask each supplier to identify assumptions that differ from the buyer brief.
