No fixed price without a fixed scope

Water Filling Machine Price: What Your Quotation Must Include

Compare the cost of the same working configuration, not two equipment subtotals. Start with the monoblock, then identify every bottle, cap, water, conveyor and service item needed to use it. Allot Tech prepares project-specific quotations; no unverified universal price range is presented here.

01

Separate equipment cost from the cost to put it to work

Use three totals: the agreed equipment, delivery-related items, and site work/services. Keep unpriced buyer obligations visible instead of treating them as zero. A lower machine subtotal can coexist with a larger remaining interface or installation scope.

  • Record currency, quotation date and validity as stated by the supplier.
  • Distinguish priced options from included items.
  • List unknown costs as not quoted, with an owner for clarification.
02

Example: why two monoblock offers are not yet comparable

Illustrative comparison only: Offer A includes the filler and one bottle format. Offer B also lists a cap feeder, outfeed conveyor and second-format parts. Neither is established as cheaper until A's missing items and B's exact specifications are clarified on the same basis. This example contains no actual supplier price.

  • Add one common scope schedule to both enquiries.
  • Request explicit included/optional/excluded answers.
  • Compare revised totals only after material differences are resolved.
03

Ask for alternatives without losing traceability

If the budget is constrained, ask the supplier to price a base scope and separate alternatives, with their operating consequences. Changing automation, a component choice or a format requirement can affect operator tasks, spares and acceptance. Do not remove a necessary safety or process requirement merely to lower a total.

  • Describe exactly what changes in each option.
  • Retain the same bottle and acceptance basis when possible.
  • Keep unresolved performance or interface assumptions visible.
04

Send a short brief that supports an itemized response

Provide the main bottle/cap, required good output, formats, existing equipment, utility conditions and destination. State whether you need a machine replacement or a filling center. Ask the response to include a configuration, scope schedule, output basis, open questions and separated options.

  • Use the capacity planner when only a daily production target is known.
  • Use the quotation-comparison worksheet after the offers share one basis.

Questions and answers

Why is there no fixed starting price?

No currently approved public price tied to a specified configuration is available for this site. A made-up range would not tell you what is included. Use the itemized scope above to obtain and compare actual project quotations.

Is the complete water plant cost the same as the filling machine price?

No. Water treatment, bottle production, labeling, packing, facilities and site work are separate boundaries. Include only the confirmed scope in the machine quotation and identify any broader package separately.

What if a quote omits installation or travel?

Mark the item as not stated and request a written responsibility and pricing basis. Do not silently add it to the supplier's scope or assume it is free.

Water filling machine cost

What changes a water filling machine price?

There is no responsible universal price without a fixed bottle, output and supply boundary. A useful quotation attaches the commercial total to a technical proposal so buyers can compare the same performance basis and included equipment.

Fastest route to a usable quotation: send bottle volume and drawing, cap type, target good BPH, machine-only or complete-line boundary, voltage, destination country and required FAT or service scope.

Water filling machine quotation factors
Price driverWhy it changes the quotationEvidence to request
Container and capBottle material, volume, geometry, neck finish, cap type and format count determine handling parts and machine platform.Bottle and cap drawings plus samples
Required outputValve count, carousel size, conveyors, controls and downstream equipment change with the reference BPH.Good bottles per shift, planned hours and a single documented loss allowance
Purchase boundaryA monoblock-only price is not comparable with a filling center or complete bottling line.Included, optional, excluded and buyer-supplied list
Materials and componentsContact materials, finishes, electrical brands, safety devices and approved alternatives affect cost and maintainability.Written specification and deviation list
Testing and documentsFAT duration, test materials, manuals, drawings, spares and training are real deliverables.Acceptance protocol and document register
